When reinstalled an unknown device appears in Device Manager along with the reinstalled DW1501. The unit was a replacement for the original DW1504 unit that was shipped with the device. It is present in Device Manager but cannot be seen by Win 7 Networking and Sharing Center or DW Lan Card Utility.
